Prior to oDesk, Gary was COO at Intellibank, a provider of on-demand contact and document management solutions. Prior to Intellibank, Gary lead the SMB Division for IBM, Rational Software Products. In 2003, IBM acquired Rational Software, a $700M+ provider of software development tools, where Gary was Rational's SMB leader, responsible for 180 direct reports, and a $200M+ quota.He joined Rational in April 1997 via the acquisition of Pure Atria, a publicly-traded software company, where he started as an Account Manager and held various leadership positions including VP Sales, Director Corporate Sales, Area Manager, and District Manager.
